Elite State Premium Mare Sira, is the dam of 3 Weser-Ems Champion Mares (StPrSt Syrah, StPrSt Shakyrah and StPrSt Sophie), as well as many other outstanding sport ponies, including the stallion Daimler (by Der Feine Lord), the mare Shanyah (by Vulkan), and the British Pony Dressage squad international FEI pony Principal. Her first son born in England, BKS Grand Design, was licensed in Hanover in 2010 and is proving to be highly rideable and easy to train.


Sira has produced three highly successful daughters, all by different stallions. Syrah (by Morbidelli) was Champion Mare of Weser-Ems in 2001, winning the Elite Mare Show, and is the dam of the Weser-Ems Stallion Licensing Champion 2005, Hilken's Black Delight. She was Reserve Champion of her mare perfomarnce test behind her half sister Sophie, and placed 4th at the National Pony Mare Show. In 2004, Syrah was the winner of the Weser-Ems Eventing Championships. Sophie (by Dressman) won her mare performance test, was Champion Mare of Weser-Ems in 2002, and was 4th in the Bundeschampionate. Shakyrah (by Branduardi M) was Champion Mare of Weser-Ems in 2005.


Sira's full sister, StPrSt Schamila, placed fourth in her Vechta Elite Mare Show, won her Mare Performance Test, and has produced a number of premium foals. Sira is a full sister to the licensed stallion Beckenbauer, who passed his performance test with an overall score of 8.04. All three are out of the great riding pony mare Sharon, and are sired by the acclaimed Black Boy.


Black Boy is the sire of more than 20 licensed stallions and 15 State Premium Mares. He was Reserve Champion of his Perfomance Test in 1987 with a score of 8.10. In 1992 he was Champion stallion of the Weser-Ems Stallion Show.


His sons include Branduardi M who was Champion of his licensing in 1998, Vicebundeschampion in 1999, Champion of his performance test in 2000, and sire of the 2005 Weser-Ems Stallion Licensing Champion, Hilken's Black Delight. Other sons include Barnabas, Reserve Champion Young Stallion in 1999, and Black Dancer, 2001 Stallion Show Champion.


He has sired 4 Champion Mares, including Golden Felina (full sister to Branduardi M) who was National Mare Champion in 1992 and 1996, and produced the licensed stallion and Bundeschampion Pilgrim's Red.


Her dam sire Brillant has been decribed as the Grandfather of German pony breeding in Weser-Ems. He sired 35 licensed sons and 23 State Premium mares. He was the top sire of German dressage ponies for three consecutive years and within the top three sires over a period of six years.
