Real Ruby (Grace) was a highly succesful competition horse with Fran up to medium level, and was schooling advanced. In 2006 she was a serial young horse class winner, qualifying for the Rhinegold British Young Horse Championships and Pavo Potential Young Dressage Horse Championships, all with over 80%. They were placed 4th in the Rhinegold National 5-year-old Final at Hickstead, again with over 80%. In 2008 they became the Central Novice Open Winter Regional Champions and consistently scored in the mid-to-high 70's at novice and elementary level. On moving to medium level they won the first 3 classes they contested at the level all with over 68%. Now a successful broodmare due to an injury related to a kick
suffered as a 2 year old in Germany, she suffered from a slight weakness
in her hindleg and although she had the ability and brain to go to
Grand Prix we valued her too highly to risk the leg breaking down
completely. She has so far produced several fantastic foals by the Oldenburg
Licensing Champion Furstenball (Furst Heinrich x Donnerhall), a colt in
2011 who tragically died as a 2 year old, a filly in 2012, colt in 2015 and a filly in 2016. Another filly by Finest also in 2016 by embryo transfer. Her daughter Fantasia has been wowing people all round the country and has been selected to go the World Dressage Breeding Championships in Ermelo. |
