Charismatic is an exceptionally uphill moving stallion with a wonderful character, and fabulous bronze colouring. His pedigree holds some of the most popular bloodlines in Germany today. In 2010 Charismatic (known as Charles at home) was licensed by the Hanoverian Verband and was awarded Premium status.
Charismatic is from the first crop of Joldis Charmant, Reserve Champion of the Hanoverian Pony Licensing 2005. Charmant completed his Stallion Performance Test with an impressive final score of 8.33, won and been placed in young horse conformation classes under saddle with and without jumping in Germany. His sire, FS Champion de Luxe, is a double bundeschampion and champion of his stallion's performance test. Joldis Charmant is a half brother of FS Golden Highlight.
The dam of Hilken's Charismatic is the State Premium mare Hilken's Shakyrah, a ¾ sister to Hilken's Black Delight. She was Weser-Ems Champion Mare in 2005, as well as champion of the three year olds at the Bundes Mare Show in Warendorf in 2005. Two of her sisters, St.Pr.St Syrah and St.Pr.St Sophie were also the Weser-Ems Champion mares of their year (2001 and 2002 respectively). Syrah qualified for the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf as a 3, 4, and 6 year old, and was reserve champion of her mares performance test. Sophie won her mares performance test and placed 4th in the finals of the Bundeschampionate. Charismatic's grand-dam Sira is part of the broodmare herd here at Blackington Stud and is an Elite mare in Germany, courtesy of the success her children have had.
